What We Believe

We believe that Jesus is the only Savior.  He is the way, the truth and the life: and no man comes to the Father but by him.  St. John 14:6

We believe in Water Baptism by Immersion (getting completely wet) in the name of Jesus.  

"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned." 

Mark 16:16 

Then Peter says to them, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gifts of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38

"When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus."   Acts 19:5

We believe in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.  

"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." Acts 2:4

"And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied." Acts 19:6

We believe in Holiness

"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord." Hebrews 12:14

We believe in the Gifts of the Spirit.

I Corinthians 12

We believe in the Five Fold Ministry Gifts

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." 

Ephesians 4:11-12

And finally, We believe that the Bible is the Inspired Infallible Word of God.  "All scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."  Therefore everything we do in Church should be based on the Bible.
